HypnoBirthing is a positive way of looking at the birth experience, creating a partnership with your care provider and working as a team with your labor support person. It is about bringing Birth back to a joyous, empowering event in a woman’s life. The basic premise of the HypnoBirthing philosophy is that a woman's body is specifically designed to give birth just like any other animal mothers in Nature.
Not only will you learn about labor and birth, You and your birth partner will also learn tools to support you during the birth of your baby. HypnoBirthing focuses on childbirth education, breathing, visualizations and relaxation techniques based on self-hypnosis. Often pregnant moms ask when is the best time to start the classes. The sooner you start the more time you have to practice the techniques, the more natural they will come to you!
HypnoBirthing classes are taught as a series of five classes. You will get a copy of Marie Mongan's book: Hypnobirthing - The Mongan Method as well as hypnosis recordings: The Rainbow Relaxation and Affirmations to enhance your practice at home. Visit Hynobirthing NYC to learn more.
